Notification for On-going e-learning and fee structure
Dear Parents/Guardians
Hope all of you, your children and your kindred are staying safe and healthy amidst the pandemic. The sudden outbreak of COVID-19 has not only thrown our normal lives out of gear but has also paved the way to innovate ourselves and re-invent the teaching-learning process to make your wards and our dear students feel at school even during such a crisis.
The pandemic has also posed financial instability across the globe. Under such a situation, the economic losses suffered by you are also being viewed sympathetically by the management. Keeping this in mind, the fee enhancement proposed by the school for the academic session 2020-2021 is presently being held in abeyance and the tuition fee structure of the academic session 2019-2020 will be applicable and payable w.e.f April/ May 2020 as applicable. To facilitate further, the last date of fee payment for every month has been extended till the 25th instead of the usual 18th. The revised school tuition fee already paid by you for the months of April/May/June 2020 as per case to case will be adjusted in the months of June and July 2020.Those of you who have already paid the fees for June or beyond or wish to pay are requested to kindly go ahead and make the payment of your ward’s fees. We will adjust the hiked amount for the months already paid by you w.e.f. from April/May 2020 as applicable in July 2020.
May the Almighty arise from the ashes like the Phoenix and bless us all to return to normalcy, happiness, and gaiety.

MESSAGE FROM PRINCIPAL’S DESK
Dear Parents/Guardians
Hope all of you, your children and your kindred are staying safe and healthy amidst the pandemic. The sudden outbreak of Covid-19 has not only thrown our normal lives out of gear but has also paved the way to innovate ourselves and re-invent the teaching-learning process to make your wards and our dear students feel at school even during such a crisis situation. It is very important for a young student to be mentally agile and productively engaged even during such an emergency. Our teachers have walked on the path of e-learning to provide support and sustainability to your wards to keep them on track academically ahead of others. The Teaching-learning process has been interactive through the Zoom Application for all our students from Classes LKG to XII. 111 Zoom classes are conducted on all working days and they are being supplemented by notes, voice-messages, worksheets and YouTube links on different academic and co-curricular subjects on approximately 160 Whatsapp Groups. The Computer department of our school is leaving no stone unturned to make our students adept in computer skills. Through co-curricular activities like Dance, Singing and Art and Craft, our students are able to hone their latent skills. It is motivating the young minds towards creative thinking and helping them overcome their boredom in a fruitful way.We are also planning to launch our School’s Portal which will entirely transform Aditya Birla Vani Bharati to an Electronic Resource Learning Centre. The new technological platform will set a benchmark for World Class Educational Excellence. to Students from all corners. They will have easy access to quality education in all subjects related to CBSE/WBBSE/WBCHSE curriculum.
Adversity beckons introspection and it makes one bold to face challenges. This had made us effectively transform from in-schooling to schooling from home for the betterment of your wards and our beloved students. This has Indeed made the virtual, real. We have used technology as our teaching aid to deliver quality education at your doorstep and will be striving effortlessly to do so to reach perfection. Amidst the pandemic, we have also taken a step further and have been successful in digitally publishing Our school’s first issue of E – Magazine – ‘Covid – 19, We Shall Overcome’.
You can have an easy access to the E – Magazine at our school’s website –

We have also ventured into Provisional Online Admission process for Class XI to bring them within the ambit of our e-learning at the earliest. We are equally concerned for our students appearing in the Higher Secondary Examination, 2020 regarding the uncertainty of the postponement of their Examination by the Council. The pandemic has not only forced us to remain indoors but had also posed financial instability across the globe. Under such a situation, the economic losses suffered by you are also being viewed sympathetically by the management. Keeping this in mind, we will be commencing with the online payment of your ward’s school fees to facilitate the ease of the mode of payment. To facilitate further, the last date of fee payment for the month of May, 2020 has been extended to 25th of the said month. The management is also under the process of reviewing the present school tuition fee and is equally concerned regarding the expansion of the school’s infrastructure and its facilities for the betterment of your wards. If amendments are implemented regarding any changes in the present school tuition fees, it will be intimated to you at the earliest. The present fees already paid by you for the academic session 2020-2021 will then be adjusted once the situation in hand normalizes. Besides,if you are facing any financial problem regarding the payment of your ward’s present fees and have any inconvenience, kindly bring it to the notice of your ward’s class teacher immediately and kindly act according to her/his guidance. The management will certainly look into the matter. We once again humbly request you all to continue to extend your Co-operation and support at this crucial juncture. We pledge to deliver our Services uninterruptedly for the betterment of your wards. May the Almighty arise from the ashes like the Phoenix and bless us all to return to
Normalcy, happiness and gaiety.

Can the password of portal be changed by the teachers ?
Has the school curriculum shifted to ICSE or CBSE from WBBSE for higher secondary classes?
Today in morning hours, I just recalled my childhood days spent in Rishra. I visited the areas where I lived and studied.
I am really pleased to note that my school Vani Bharati is renamed after Shri Aditya Birla. I studied here from six to eight class. I was compelled to learn English here as all subjects were taught in English. My earlier schooling was in Hindi medium. It changed my vision towards study. I can say foundation of my life was reshaped by teachers of that time. Whatever I achieved in my life has root in this school.
I am really happy to see that my school has kept pace with changing times. It’s really great.
Later in 90s I had opportunity to work for Aditya Birla group for five years. That was my last employment after that I started my software business in Mumbai.
Happy memories
Wow…I was just reminiscing about my childhood in India. I was trying to locate all schools that I attended and I’m so pleased to have found Vani Bharti’s website. Although I studied there only for two grades (5th and 6th), I still have a very fond memory of the place. I had to leave the school in 1971 as my family moved to Mumbai. I see that the school has really done very well and has maintained (even improved) its prestige. I would love to bring my family to see the school when I come to Kolkata on my next visit to India.
